HSBC/Midland building

I scaled this building with Nckt a while ago. It had been on my to do list for a while, but until the scaffolding was recently put up any attempt had been unsuccesful. Sadly we didn't get to the ground floor or the vault and the rest of the building is completely stripped down, so there are only some rooftop pics.

The building was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and built from Portland stone around a steel frame. It was finished in 1935. Until the 90s business of the the Midland Bank  took place inside. Then HSBC took it over but left it in June 2008. It is now Grade II listed and at the moment transformed into a Jamie Oliver restaurant.
